Um... Well, I was talking with someone about Canadian Music and I mentioned the Barenaked ladies.

They were like:

"OMG, Is the band a bunch of naked woman?!"



So I made them listen to "If you want a Million Dollars:

"They sounds awfully manly... gay dude."

I have been a big fan ever since their first album, Gordon. They rock and they appear to be proud to be Canadian. Very proud to see them headline at the last winter olympics in salt lake. They were a crowd pleaser for sure.

What's a Barenaked Leady?

Well Guest, the Barenaked Ladies are one of Canada's most renowned and famous bands that have millions of fans around the world. As a result, we Canadians get a lot of confused stares from people when we say: "The Barenaked Ladies were awesome last night! It rocked the house!"

I was refering to your spelling mistake. "Barenaked Leadies"

I liked the guys when they first came out. It was different quirky and fun. A lot of humour, and satire. However the concept has gotten tired in the last couple of releases. Since the expansion to the American market the "nerdy gimmick" has run its course. They can no longer pull off the former high school geek squad now thumbing their noses at the rest of the pretty people approach. They are just too old for that now. If\when you go to your high school reunion you will see that now all of us have found out the we don't fit in and we have all evolved into that uncool nerdy person. "The Ladies" need to tap into that to continue to evolve with us.

I think the fun is done and it is time to pursue other endeavors. Some of them have branched into acting, writing and producing. It is only a matter of time before the box set and farewell tour.
