When I read this, I laughed in disbelief, and hung my head in shame. Humanity, you have further proved how fucked up we really are.

That's right folks, Israel just got $6 Million dollars from Canadians. In mere minutes. This is disgusting for many reasons.

#1. Israel does not need the money

#2. Israel is behaving rather badly at the moment

#3. This amount of money was raised in mere minutes, for a paranoid, over-reacting, militarily capable country, that for some reason, seems to still receive pity.


Look, I feel for the Jews. They have had it rough for the past 4 millenia, and they're still going strong. For that, I applaud them. But their recent behaviour is unacceptable. Per capita, Israel is #1 in the world for military spending. Their army is pretty much made up of commandos, and yet, for some reason, we still seem to blindly throw our support for them because of their historic grieving.


This money could have been put to much better use, such as medicare, cancer research, helping the handicapped, etc. Instead we throw $6M to Israel, a country who doesn't need it. It jsut makes me sick...

Wouldn't it have been a much better idea to put Israel in Germany instead of the Middle-East?

Come on, in all reality, we have the UN(including America) and the UK to thank for all the problems between the Jews and Muslims since the Zionist movement in 1881. And there was the further fucking up of shit in 1947 with the UN Partition Plan.

"Hey! Let's divide the holy land, which has been promised by God to three groups!"

And yay, more bloody conflict!



Wouldn't it have been better to put Israel in Germany? Especially in the area that was ceded to Poland, as there are large numbers of Jews in that area and in Poland. Especially considering the attitude towards Nazi's and Germany at the time, it would be like a slap to the face of Germany, which we all know all Europeans wanted to do. It would've been a win-win situation, but instead, we gotta put it right in the middle of the Holy Land.
