[align=justify] I have trouble sleeping. A lot of trouble, actually. It's not uncommon for me to be up until 3am, in fact - and then, when I finally feel like I can sleep, get up again about four hours later.
Such is my life with a sleep disorder, among other things.
But recently, I discovered the wondrous properties of a little orange pill I won't name (don't want to give anyone any ideas ), and let me tell you: They pack a serious wallop! Not only do they make me somewhat loopy (yeah - like I need to be even more loopy than I am already ), they also make me sleep... even when my insomnia is at its worst. In fact, insomnia doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning, when I take one of those little orange pills.
Of course, as with most medications of this kind, there are some drawbacks:
* sleep for two days, waking only long enough to go the bathroom
* no clue what I did before I took the little pill, and don't much care
* extremely vivid nightmares and weird dreams in general
* become quite giddy and basically weird once the pill kicks in
All in all, though, I like my little orange pills. They make me sleep when I need to sleep. Considering the fact that I've always wished I could just make like a bear and hibernate for the winter, these little miracles bring me awfully close to realizing that dream.
Have a nice, warm, and very happy weekend, everyone.
