YESTERDAY I TOOK PHOENIX TO HER 3RD OBEDIENCE CLASS AND TOTALLY TRAUMATIZED HER. APPARENTLY SHE HAS STARTED GOING THROUGH YET ANOTHER FEAR STAGE AND WHEN TRYING TO TEACH HER THE DREADED "DOWN" COMMAND SHE FLIPPED OUT AND BIT THE INSTRUCTOR. WE BOTH FELT BAD FOR NOT READING HER BODY LANGUAGE BETTER. I THINK SHE IS GOING TO BE THE AUGUST CLASS POSTER CHILD FOR "BAD DOG". SHE BARELY CAME NEAR ME LAST NIGHT AND SHE HAS TO GO BACK TODAY. IS THERE A MEDAL FOR ABUSING YOUR BABY HERE????????????????

I think almost all dogs go thru that DG - or at least the smart ones (sorry Dakota ) My lab Salem just about took OUT the instructor one class - the guy pushed down for the SIT command and big dog wasnt havin any of it.... knocked him over and stood on his chest.
well those who get bitten will need to understand that Dobies are bred to not take any shit from near strangers....
and wil laughing at Salem....oh DOG i did that when my red and tan dobie bit the instructor in Obediance school.....but she did get a claw choke chain for a while after that....and my son Mike on board as Mocha's canine mentor....
