Comment Corner

Well folks, it's been an entire year of the Comment Corner. I didn't actually believe it would last this long. I say that from the perspective that this was just sort of a writing exercise for me when I started it; a place to test out various styles, experiment with prose and call people cum-eating cripple-fuckers that happened to pause too long in front of the milk display at Loblaws.

So, I got to starting some sort of anniversary tribute to myself but then I got lazy, other shit was going on and I put it off and off and off until now, the anniversary, and I have empty hands to show for it.

That said, I encourage people to go back and look at the first few entries on this; I kind of like them the most. I think this whole thing was very raw back then; a blue-rare steak. Over the course of posts, the absolute barrage of swearing got toned back to a respectable fuck here or shitdick there; the kind of language you would hear at Sunday Service.

Some ideas didn't work. Movie posters and Duran Duran lyrics. I tried heartily, but failed like Steve Irwin in a sting-ray tank.

Also, I'm happy I stuck with it. There has been some nice encouragement, some healthy "Eat shit asshole"s along the way and some rather bizarre comments to this day I don't understand.

In the coming year, expect more people to piss me off (actually, bet your kid's fucking lung triple-to-one on that account), more movies to need my fixing and, of course, more Lost analysis, which you folks clearly need my help in understanding.
