I just wanted to ask people who have lived in this, for lack of a better word, "Province" for a long time to answer a few questions for me. I have asked several other people these same questions but none can give me any reasons why things are the way they are. So here is the first question:

Why are liquor stores not privatized?

In Alberta with a little leg work, I can get pretty much anything I want, but in NB I have to settle for what they put on the shelf. It wouldnt be all that bad, if they kept the wine selection the same. If I find a good wine at NB Liquor I have to buy 2 or 3 bottles because the chances of it coming around again is next to none. So then I have to roll the dice on another bottle, which I know next to nothing about. Right now I am drinking a 06 Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon, its very good, so now I am going to have to buy 3 more bottles, because I know its not going to be here next week and I wont be able to get it again.
