So whats up with EmmyLou? Ever since Earth day she has acted strange. I figured I would buy Gus a few beers and discuss the matter. Gus is a earthy guy who soiled his pants regularly as a kid, so who more qualified to find the earthy answers?

When Gus arrived at Murphy's Bar and Grill I had the beer and pretzels waiting. Normally he manages a "Hi" before quaffing the first pint. Today however he had a few sips after the greeting. He looked grumpy as well.
"You OK Gus, any problems?" I had to ask.

"Well yeah. A few but the main problem is me Mum." replied Gus. "The latest is her foray into high finance. She wants to start a new financial institution. She even sent Buffett and Gates a email inviting them to join her company."

"What brought that on?" I wondered.

"It was this email to her that started it. Mum did keep quiet about it as it was part of the deal" said Gus. "Here is the letter"

"That's the thing" Gus groaned. "She was going to donate it to another scammer!

I knew she was brainwashed when I returned from a beer run to town to find her in the garden with her arms around the willow tree. It had been seared from the recent garage fire. She was comforting it.
Well I set her down and tried to counter the humongous fraud these enviro terrorists had inflicted on kids, seniors and other vulnerable citizens who believed the biased media and professors with lucrative agendas.

I had Mum read some denier stuff the Fraudsters labelled by implication "Holocaust Deniers". Views that rebutted their fraudulent scams.

Forests may add to methane levels, scientists say:

Scientists in Germany have discovered that ordinary plants produce significant amounts of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas which helps trap the sun's energy in the atmosphere.

And the BBC News Website has learned that the research, based on observations in the laboratory, appears to be corroborated by unpublished observations of methane levels in the Brazilian Amazon.

I told Mum there is tons of evidence that global warming is natural and not due to CO2. Just google it.
It was no use. Al Gore had a movie where it showed a graph of CO2 and temperature fluctuations which coincided. She was convinced as Al Gore and his dorks couldn't possibly be hucksters, frauds or charlatans.

But CO2 followed temperature rises by 800 years, a little detail Gore forgot to mention. :roll:

Frequent sunspots and the ocean is the main cause of CO2 rising. No big deal as CO2 has been much higher in the past. Before SUVs.

It is so sad. Me Mum is a diehard convert. She will help to impoverish many citizens. Kyoto implemented will cost each family over $4000. Try claiming that loss on your tax return. Poor families will curse the fraudsters. The idea of buying carbon credits from China or Russia is obscene. People who do that should be subpoenaed to explain how wasting taxpayers money helps prevent Global warming and is not just a fraudulent transfer of wealth. China needs the money to build a extra coal fired power station."

I had better not bring up Emmy's strange behaviour right now. There is not enough beer in the joint to drown our sorrows.
