According to reports from New Jersey a dozen wild turkeys were waiting for the train on a station platform trying to escape their fate by traveling to New York.
Smart buggers I thought to myself. That's what I would do if I was a Turk. At least head for Constantinople.
It appears they were trying to get out of New Jersey before Thanksgiving Day. Train officials reported a dozen wild turkeys were waiting on a station platform in Ramsey, about 20 miles northwest of New York City. The line travels to N.Y. From the kettle into the fire? Whats wrong with Pincher Creek Alta? They would have gotten a warm reception there. Rare meat eaters!

What is interesting is the guy waiting on the platform station. Ask him why he is leaving town and he will invariably point to the Birth Column in the local paper.
Then you may find a glassy eyed young man who is fleeing as he is not her Shining White Knight.
Seems the romance went down hill after one of their finest dining experience's at MacDonald's. His inadvertent admission that he buys condoms by the trainload convinced her that he may be interested in her for something other than her personality. Filthy swine! Broken hearted he is leaving town. He looked henpecked. His apartment had been condemned and was living with his mother.

I make mental notes of these No No's so I don't make the same mistakes with Emmy Lou. I am a bit worried as she did mention (rather wistfully I thought) that my breasts were larger than hers.
