Gus Slobomavitch here.

It is with pain and sorrow that I must report the death of Istanbul. He must have passed away peacefully in his sleep sometime during the night.

I will miss the little bugger. EmmyLou seemed unconcerned as on hearing the news merely commented that there were many fish in the sea.

"Istanbul can be replaced" were her callous words.
