My friend Gus is either a slob or very short sighted. He claims to be short sighted when he closely inspects cleavage and the owner does not object. It may be true as when he shakes the salt shaker over his onion soup he often dips it in the soup, gumming up the holes. Then he spills half of it trying to rectify the problem. Naturally being a concerned buddy I have to throw some salt over his shoulder to prevent him from being unlucky in the future.
As luck would have it a goodly amount of salt landed in the cleavage of the Dame at the next table. She was rather plumpish and was glowing from the hot chili peppers on her plate. Ladies glow, they do not sweat. So a white wisp of snow caked on her "clee-Varge" as her escort pronounced it.
I hastily apologized and explained that superstitions about salt date back to biblical times when salt was expensive so spilling it was considered a sacrilegious offence. Throwing salt over your shoulder is akin to blessing someone after they've sneezed -- it's a way of keeping the devil away. (And if you want to really follow the letter of the law, you're encouraged to throw the salt with your "good," or right hand. Throughout history, the association of right with good and left with bad caused a number of perfectly respectable left-handed people to be burned at the stake or impaled.)
Gus claimed I was too superstitious for my own good. He may be right as a scored a 80 on a TEST.
So I looked up my horoscope for Sagittarius November 22 - December 21
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Best Day This Week: Monday. << Well that one is right. Good start>>
This Week's Advice: Avoid lending money or belongings to friends. << Too late. Gus borrowed $200 to pay me back the $50 he loaned last week. Toor also has not returned my Dior outfit.>>
Tone down and put some of that hard-earned cash into a safe long-term investment. << I did that. Enron.>>
Invite friends in for a visit. << They invite themselves. >>
Likes-
Traveling Getting to the heart of the matter Freedom Laws and meanings The general "feel" of things << True. hehee>>
Dislikes- Being tied down. Being constrained Cooling your heels Being bothered with details << close >>
I will leave my Basic Birth chart until tomorrow. I will match it with Emmy Lou's after she calls tomorrow. It is long distance to Constantinople.

Keep your eyes peeled, this guy can appear almost anywhere and at any time. His beady little eyes might be watching you right now.
I feel him. I think he's watching me - man he's creeping me out.
