Well…it’s been some time now, but I think I’ll offer up my first edition of the Comment Corner Poster Awards. Now, forum fans don’t be alarmed, as I’m no CCPA amateur as eons ago I was a regular contributor on another forum, but the sheer idiocy, lunacy and rank stupidity of some our CKA forum faves has begged me to return. Remember, Forum Fans, that this is a service for you – it’s a witty, irreverent look at the human condition and how it manifests itself online in the sheer brilliance of mangled, maligned mortifyingly stupid and inane posts.

And away we go!

1. The Post Karma Award

A quick description; This honour is bestowed upon those unsightly, self-righteous hypocrites that parachute into the middle of a thread to dispense their versions of goodness on this morally rudderless word. Come on, you’ve seen them. They pop out of nowhere and then serve notice that they are the moral judge and jury and they’ve found your conduct guilty of the some otherworldly ethical law that only they’re privy too. In response to this blatant self-righteous Post Karma hijacking, I’m offering up the Post Karma Award.

The inaugural winner? dunker

2. The “I’m Bill Ford’s Caddy” Award - Maggiemygosh

This super special award goes to an up and comer misfit that I’m sure will grace our monitors with a litany of moronic musings for weeks and months to come. In a recent exchange where they were caught dispensing information without a brain, this little turd resorts to the tired appeal to a false authority to pull his fat ass from the fire. The only problem - It’s still wrong!

Yep there you have it folks. Bill’s in his office and screams, “Get me Kanata on the horn!” And that’s the corporate command structure in a nutshell. It goes from God to Bill to Kanata to Maggiemygosh.

GM may have Bob Lutz, but Rick Wagoner goes to Chevy West when he’s got to pull the trigger on the Subaru issue. It’s so simple that it’s utterly brilliant. And thanks to a golf game and bored fat kid with no life, we’re now privy to how the auto industry works. Awesome.
