Cruising the blogosphere (yeah, i went there) here and lookie what I found - more Batsh*t craziness from our resident loony. This time she's trying to justify here anti-social lifestyle (read: no friends and talks to paint) by insinuating it's due to "Intimate Infiltrations". As I try to decipher poop-painting dialogue, i think this means that she's a loser, has no friends and her crotch crickets scare away the homeless. We get this, but here's where the blog goes into the serious weirdness.

Well…it’s been some time now, but I think I’ll offer up my first edition of the Comment Corner Poster Awards. Now, forum fans don’t be alarmed, as I’m no CCPA amateur as eons ago I was a regular contributor on another forum, but the sheer idiocy, lunacy and rank stupidity of some our CKA forum faves has begged me to return. Remember, Forum Fans, that this is a service for you – it’s a witty, irreverent look at the human condition and how it manifests itself online in the sheer brilliance of mangled, maligned mortifyingly stupid and inane posts.

1. The Post Karma Award

A quick description; This honour is bestowed upon those unsightly, self-righteous hypocrites that parachute into the middle of a thread to dispense their versions of goodness on this morally rudderless word. Come on, you’ve seen them. They pop out of nowhere and then serve notice that they are the moral judge and jury and they’ve found your conduct guilty of the some otherworldly ethical law that only they’re privy too. In response to this blatant self-righteous Post Karma hijacking, I’m offering up the Post Karma Award.

Here’s and oldie, but a goldie – it’s the drooling post monkey that enters into a discussion without the requisite knowledge only to be easily bested by someone even remotely knowledgeable. Okay…that in itself is actually par for the course in these parts, but what about the sucks that simply omit information in a pitiful attempt to avoid conceding a point. These little cowards need a forum tar and feathering as they’re deplorable and downright sucky-baby antics require (actually demand) an 18th century humiliation.

Consider the following – Exhibit A (rhymes with Otto) introduces a myriad of erroneous points. Said points are easily addressed, dismantled and rammed back down Exhibit A’s gaping slack-jawed dummy maw so quickly that instead of verifying the data’s authenticity or (and this is a stretch for the ethically challenged) revising their hypothesis to reflect conflicting objective truth the tard in question merely moves on (without conceding a point), dodges the issue, takes up a peripheral attack against name-calling or demands to know why their limited education hasn’t encountered the issue before.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa? This is merely cowardice. And dummy tactics. It’s an act of desperation whatever the tactic. They often don’t know much and due to their reliance on intellectual relativism and Zellers reading material they’ve never encountered true academic discourse before. But instead of simply conceding the point, they make the matter worse by ignoring it and blissfully carrying on in their own world of ignorance. They won’t concede anything. They can’t. They’ve pinned their worthless self-esteem on a forum pissing contest and like some demented Jedi of the Old Republic, they can’t lose face. I say, eat it, Oprah! Challenge these Dr. Phil dummies and make them face their ignorance! Don’t let them off the hook in pity – it only ensures they’ll do it again. Don’t be a forum appeaser. Be a forum healer. Help them. Help t...

Appeal to False Authority

Here’s another (well…it’s building on already posted ideas) – what to do with the poster that feels there personal information is sacrosanct, but wields it about when the feel it suits their crumbling argument?

For instance – someone always invokes his or her vocation as a de facto legitimacy tool for whatever argument they see fit. So and so is a fireman, and because the 9/11 attacks involved stated profession and fire, they are now, by extension, experts on all things firefighting, building demolition, chemical reactions, missile strikes, airplane mechanics, piloting airliners, global politics and conspiracy theorists. Not only is that a huge miscarriage of logic, but also they often wear it as a badge of honour and dare others to question it.

The inevitable bitching and whining often follows this when that same freely volunteered information is questioned (or used in satirical fun) as relevant or even truthful. Here’s a quick truism – don’t volunteer information on forums or use it in a manner that suggest an appeal to false authority unless you wasn’t it vigorously questioned, challenged or addressed. You volunteered it. You believed served a purpose when you claimed your DeVry diploma qualified you as expert on Renaissance philosophy, so know you forfeit your alleged cry-baby rights to complain when someone asks how a DeVry piece of paper allows you to question Durer’s existence. Don’t like it. Don’t post it. And don’t complain that this somehow violates some vague forum rules if it’s used against you, but it’s somehow above reproach when its levelled against others. It’s a chickenshit way out and it signals your disingenuous nature.

Oh well…another day, another forum musing. Remember forum fans, keep posting, keep smiling and keep checking out the Comment Corner. Like milk, it does a body good.

It’s a blatant case of intellectual relativism – the habitually dumb and uneducated want to dump on intellectualism and scholarship so they seek to undermine it by attacking its methodology. Why should they have to substantiate their dipshit points (like Residential Schools were altruistic, Christians didn’t help with the Third Reich’s Anti-Semitic pogroms or no one would car if the Jays left Toronto) when it’s far easier to demand that objective facts (you know, the things standing in the way of their declarations) meet their personal verification. They want you do to their research. They want you to convince them. In fact, they want you to legitimize already verified points to them before they (and they wont, anyway) acknowledge their existence. It’s the height of anti-intellectualism and laziness. It’s the badge of dullards everywhere. It’s intellectual relativism.

Retards like Otto the Wonderfuck and Supertard (aka Man of Dumb) need to rationalize their piss poor schooling, crappy intellects and moronic missteps. Don’t let them, forum fans, hide behind intellectual relativism. A fact is a fact. World War Two occurred. That’s it. It’s not debatable. You haven’t heard of it? Who cares? Remember, it doesn’t have to enter into your consciousness before it’s independently verified. A simple lesson. But, let’s be honest as it goes out to simpletons.
