Laws, departements, and actions i think the Canadian governement should put in place
Firstly i will talk about an action that i think that all governements should do to attempt to reverse or halt the recession. Secondly i will talk about sugestion about how the Canadian Police are paid. Thirdly i will talk about a new department that i think should be put in place. Forthly i would like to talk to you about making new laws about companies going banckrupt.

The first preposal i would like to talk to you about is how to reverse the recession easier and faster. People say during a recession throwing money at the problem dosnt work, thats not exactly true its just where we throw the money. At the moment governements such as the American governement are bailling out many private companies that are going banckrupt as a consequence of the recession. The only way that these companies can get these millions/billions of dollar baillouts is if they spend less money, to do this they shut down branches that are not making enough money and .lower job wages Every time they need more baillouts they need to dismiss workers to meet the governements speding criteria. Instead of this why dont we just not give any money to those companies that arnt doing well/applying for bankruptcy, find the companies (in various buisness sectors with many job losses) that are doing good, give these companies finacial support so that they can take over the bankrupt companies assets in there buisness sector. With this expansion of companies that are doing finacially well we can give back jobs to the laid off workers just under a different and better structured company. With this workers wont have to go back to school, governement spending can be reapid after a while, and this will actually move the country, companies and workers forward in the recession in stead of just briefly slowing it down. In my whole life ive never been rewarded for doing something bad exspecially if it affects other people negatively, so why is this any different? Shouldnt we reward the companies that are doing well?

The second preposal i would like to talk to you about is police pay . Now we all know that the police force is an essential part of society but is there a better way to pay them? At the moment the Canadian Police Forces are payed by taxes. I think instead of the the police forces being payed just by taxes they should also be payed by the fines that they collect(i got a bit of this idea from a friend now i know they might fine people more or target people there may be a few tweeks).

The third preposal i want to talk about is a new governement departement that taxes companies infdividual buildings not as a whole. The taxes will be adjustable depending on how good the individual buildings are doing. Also this is made so that the company maybe based in a different area dosnt have to mail a check to the governement and even if the company is doing good the branches in Canada might not be doing well so they dont have to pay as much taxes(basically if this company branch makes money from us we will make a bit a monye from the company branch not the company as a whole). For example lets say we have two aliant buildins set up in your town. One is doing really well and the other is doing poorly. the one doing well will get more taxes than the one doing bad. This departement will wathc these branches every six months to see how they are doing for adjusting the tax rate.

The fourth preposal i would like to talk to you about would be is if companies companies start or apply for bankruptcy that there should be a law in place where with the money they have left should go to the workers severance pay, maybe not the first thing they do with ther money but at least it should b one of there 5 priorities.
