For the world - and especially the people of Iraq - it'll be a Happy New Year, especially those who suffered under Saddam's reign of terror. The year 2006 will end with Saddam's execution only to start 2007 new without his presence. Iraq needed to start this year fresh. Saddam's death with help them.

With only a day left in the old year, people can celebrate his execution, but as the New Year approaches, those at the helm need to help their people to focus on rebuilding the country by putting to rest Saddam not only physically by burying his body, but also they need to bury the memory of his evil by focusing on a new day. They will need to change their focus to a positive legacy for their country.

A new picture of a brighter future for the people needs to be created so that they can move on. The self-propelled false image of a god man - Saddam - needs to be stamped out and a new image of a people builing a country together must be drawn - the architecture of a new world for them.

January 1st, 2007 must be emblazoned with the hope of a better future. Sometimes in order to fulfill a dream, you need to see it in front of your eyes.
