Just a reminder Folks this is Remberance Week.

Lest we forget.

My Father was a WWII veteran. Some of you out there know someone who was a vet or someone who is currently serving in Afghanistan. One of our young neighbours has been to Afghanistan already and says some day he will be forced to return. He says he doesn't mind because that's what they are working to do.

It's just occurs to me every time I see him that I like this chap; I hope he makes it back okay. All of them want to build a life with a family and home like the rest of us. It's so easy to forget some men and women are struggling in a foreign country doing their duty, living with the knowledge that their time could come up any minute. We want to pay respect to them.

We must never forget those who have paid this price, the ones who died before and the ones who went knowing it could be them. Not many are left.

When we see the sun come up every morning, we should think about the people who are standing for truth, duty and valour (RMC)
