[color=blue]What a legacy! Not!

The people of Iraq needed to take back a country from a legacy of evil - the rule of Saddam - and the sealing of this deal arrived through his execution. Unlike Scrooge, Saddam never repented of his evil deeds before a world waiting and watching for the outcome of his trial. In his own mind he was too big to be guilty.

He could've have done so much more for his family, friends, people and country; instead, he ruled with the claw of the Grim Reaper and the stone heart of one with no conscious for his fellow man. What did he give his sons, but the lesson of evil - you take what you want, you kill, torture, and laugh counting all your money stashed in a dungeon of evil. You breed what you sow.

We all needed to see his death if only to destroy the image he created for himself in videos and footage during his reign, the laughing as I sentence you to death smile, the greed, the image of a hero before his frightened people, the gun toating and shooting madman of their generation, the would-be king smiling and accepting service in his halls of wealth - the man who set himself up on a pedastal before the world.

I for one wanted to destroy the image of the man who made himself king over an oppressed people. The Saddam I want to remember is the Saddam who was brought to justice for his evil. Of course, this is a deal Saddam.[/color]
