If those who are promoting the white poppy weren’t trying to invade the Remembrance Day Red Poppy symbol, why on earth did they bring it out at this time! They brought out the white so-called peace poppy at the same time as the red one.

Think of “In Flanders Fields.”

It feels as if someone has stepped on holy ground because it diminishes the value of the red poppy’s representation. It’s a signature of something we should hold dear to our hearts as Canadians.

The white poppy is simply a counterfeit of original. Nothing should replace the red poppy ever.
