TheraisaK.com Heads in a New Direction
Natural Light Photography prints and services becomes primary focus for TheraisaK.com in 2008.
February 12, 2008 - BRANTFORD, ON - TheraisaK.com, created by long time independent music supporter Theraisa K (known mostly in the industry as Wednesday Elektra), will be undertaking a new focus and direction in 2008.
"I've decided that the best way to stay on top of my creative side is to continue rotating my services,” Theraisa explains. “Last year I focused primarily on Creative Writing and the year before on Graphic/Web Design. This year I’m turning my focus towards Photography – Digital, SLR and what I like to call: “Natural Light” photography – using the sun’s rays as my main source of lighting.”
With a background in Graphic Design and having provided over 10 years of creative as well as marketing services to Independent Musicians and Artisans the world over, Theraisa is expected to gain new grounds with her 2008 photography prints and services.
“I plan to continue designing as well as writing, but my main focus will be on photography this year,” states Theraisa. “I plan to get more involved with amateur photography contests and perhaps step into the world of postcards and calendars.”
“I’ve been an amateur photographer for over a decade, but I’m not widely known as a being a photographer,” Theraisa continues. “So I have to continue building up my portfolio to gain recognition in this side of the industry.”
Recently unleashing her brand new website for 2008, TheraisaK.com, will become the hub of all of Theraisa’s activities in the year to come. The site includes her 2008 photography portfolio (which is constantly being updated and added to), her online store featuring her latest signed prints, as well as an epicenter of information on Theraisa herself.

TheraisaK.com Announces New Article Releases and Services for 2008
Exclusive and syndicated literary pieces will be made available with new website launch in mid-January 2008
BRANTFORD — December 27, 2007 — TheraisaK.com announced today that in January 2008 there will be a new website launch complete with portfolio examples in Literature, Art, Design and Photography. Along with the website launch there will be exclusive and non-exclusive manuscripts/literature, artwork, and photography available to publications for (re)printing and/or (re)publishing and to the general public for personal uses.
“TheraisaK.com is experiencing a creative growth spurt and we’d like to take our website and services one step further,” said Theraisa K. Fleig, owner of TheraisaK.com. “In the past our focus has been primarily on custom graphic and web design for independent musicians, in the future however, we hope to expand on our literary contributions and release exclusive as well as syndication style articles and reviews along with original artwork and general photography to the public. We hope publications as well as individuals embrace our new direction and use our literary and artistic services to their advantages.”
Current Article Deployments
Many syndicated services and websites have already benefited from Theraisa K’s literary deployments from “how to” articles to DVD movie reviews and opinion pieces. In December, three syndication pieces were offered to sources such as eHow.com and Helium.com and garnished positive feedback from the public viewers. More articles are expected to be released on a monthly basis in the new year.
“This is a first step for us in composing and releasing syndicated-style articles,” said Theraisa K. “We only hope that many more of our articles and content will be syndicated and published in the future.”
Article Availability
TheraisaK.com will have articles and content available for viewing, purchasing and downloading in January 2008 via
http://www.theraisak.com. The website will also contain Theraisa’s portfolio examples in literature, art, photography and design while also providing a hub for online sales of personal products (such as apparel, furniture, action figures, collectables and more) and information.
TheraisaK.com unveiled in Jan. 2007 is a multi-faceted portfolio website and online store. It is a culmination of past projects by Brantford, ON writer and artisan Theraisa K Fleig; namely Aid For Bands/AFBPromotions (band promotion), Space Junkies Magazine (music/art magazine) and Whippitup Designs (graphic/web design).

TheraisaK.com - New Literary & Art Website (Press Releas
Mon Dec 10, 2007 12:28 pm
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Long time independent music supporter Theraisa K releases new multi-faceted literary and art portfolio website
BRANTFORD, December 10 – Brantford, Ontario resident, Theraisa K Fleig (Theraisa K), widely known by her pen name of Wednesday Elektra, has returned from a one year hiatus to unleash her next project (a culmination of past projects, such as Aid For Bands / AFBPromotions, Space Junkies Magazine and Whippitup Designs), simply titled TheraisaK.com, to showcase her talents as a writer/illustrator, graphic/web designer, photographer and artisan.
On November 1st TheraisaK.com unveiled a brand new website (see
http://www.theraisak.com) highlighting a new direction into the abyss of writing, while still providing new portfolio examples of photography, design and art.
“The new website, like many of my previous websites, holds many features and functions,” explains Theraisa K, “It’s primarily designed to showcase my various talents as a writer, artist, photographer and graphic designer, but it is also set up as an online store. I have lots of personal items to sell and in the future I will also be making a great effort to sell my art and children’s storybooks.”
As mentioned, Theraisa K has begun a new adventure into writing children’s storybooks. The first is aptly titled “Fishy In The Pond.” It tells the tale of a prehistoric fish that fell asleep for millions of years, only to wake up in a little boy’s backyard pond. Theraisa wrote, illustrated and will soon be self-publishing the storybook.
“The story was originally penned with the intention of being a Christmas present for my son,” Theraisa K stated, “But I found that it provided a new gateway of releasing my pent up creativity and it has since sparked an onslaught of adventurous tales yet to be pieced together.”
“So far all my children’s stories are influenced by my day-long adventures with my one year old son, and the moments of discovery we share together.” Continues Theraisa K, ”For now, most of the stories will be designed and given to my son, but in the future I plan on writing stories to release to the general public.”
Besides writing children’s stories, Theraisa K is continuing to design HTML based websites and graphics for primarily independent musicians and artists, while also enjoying the freedom photography and art have to offer.
“My work in graphic/web design has slowed in recent years, as my interest has focused more on writing,” Theraisa K comments, “I still enjoy working on the odd website and creating promotional materials as well as graphics for bands. That’s something I will always love doing. I started out designing fan websites when I was about 13 years old and it led to some of the greatest highs and lows of my life. But all of it has brought me to where I am today, still pursuing the “undreamable” dream and trying to make a living at it, without of course, having to supplement with an outside source!”
Seeing a rise in recent website hits from a few visitors to over 2,000 monthly has made TheraisaK.com the most successful project of Theraisa K’s yet! Theraisa K is currently illustrating her next children’s story, “The Golden Crayon” and is also working on gaining international exposure for all of her portfolio work.
