Raven's Nest

Well today at work, it was quite steady. I sold quite a bit of product today, most of my product holds went out the door as well today, which is awesome...I put up an order for a 24 port switch...wooooo. I have been pretty awesome on the sales recently because we only have one actual sales person at the store for the last three days. So tomorrow I imagine that my sales are also going to do pretty good too.

I like not having to sell laptops and desktops. If there was someone that shows up in the store knowing exactly what they want and we have it, then yeah then I'll sell a laptop or desktop but that's pretty much the only way I'll sell the "big stuff".

I sold my first digital camera as well today. I was happy. HP cameras aren't bad if you only need it to point and shoot. I started out with one. I still have my second one and it works ok. Too bad about the person that bought it didn't want any accessories. I don't normally hang around the digital centre unless I'm putting out new stock.

So nothing exciting happened. OMG actually, there was this couple that brought their kid in the store, they ended up walking out of the store and all of a sudden this kid just screams real loud and starts crying. My boss tries to settle it down and told the kid to sit down and wait for their parents. Poor kid...stupid parents or grandparents or whatever, they were just walked out of the store without even noticing that they didn't have the kid with them. When they came back to look for the child, they didn't even look a bit worried or frightened that the kid was gone. That was weird...and those people...omg...what the hell??
