Reiko Aylesworth and Steven Pasquale have been cast as the leads in 20th Century Fox's Alien vs. Predator 2, which begins filming next week in Vancouver, reports Variety.

Greg and Colin Strause direct from a script by Armageddon writer Shane Salerno. Davis Entertainment's John Davis and Robbie Brenner are producing.

Steven Pasquale is better known for his role in Rescue Me (with Dennis Leary) as Sean Garrity, a none too bright firefighter, while Reiko Aylesworth is well known to '24' fans as Michelle Dessler.

Noemie Lenoir has joined the previously-added Max von Sydow and Hiroyuki Sanada in director Brett Ratner's Rush Hour 3, featuring Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan.

The four-month shoot is set to start Sunday in Paris, where Tucker's and Chan's characters will battle a wing of a Chinese organized crime family. In a rare appearance in a comedy, von Sydow will portray the head of the World Criminal Court, while French actress Lenoir will be the love interest for Tucker's character.

New Line has set an Aug. 10 release date.

I have to admit, I loved both Rush Hour films. The reason that it has taken so long to make a third movie is that producers could not reconcile Tucker's demands. Right from the lips of Jackie Chan;

"He wants too much power. The movie company hasn't obliged. He wants final editing rights and the final look at the movie and so on ... When he asks me what I want, I say, 'I don't care,' and he'll scold me, saying, 'They make so much money off us. We'll have to get it back."
