300 looks like a good movie, but at the same time it looks as if Hollywood has once again butchered history. This isn't even a story that needs to be butchered, it is plenty exciting kept the way it should be.

The problem isn't that Hollywood butchered history, but rather that Frank Miller (Sin City) did. Hollywood was simply trying to be true to his "vision".

I really don't understand why he felt the need to change this story. 300 guys fighting an army of 20,000 seems pretty exciting already if you ask me
