Starship Troopers 3?

Rumour has it that Sony is about to has greenlight Starship Troopers 3.

The first movie was released in 1997, earned $121 million worldwide. Despite the sub-standard acting, this is a favourite of mine anyways (the book is much better). I was really disappionted when the sequel (Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation) went straight to DVD.
