Weekend Box Office

As expected, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End took first place at the box office this weekend, grossing $126.0 million. Shrek 3 slipped to 2nd place with a very strong $69.1 million. Spiderman 3 easily held onto third place with $18 million, and was the first film this year to break the $300 million barrier. Lionsgate's film, Bug, opened in 4th place with $4.2 million, while Fox Searchlight's indie film, Waitress, took fifth place with and even $4 million.
Just another happy Canuckistanian living under the so-called US security umbrella...yes, I'm a sarcastic bastard.
