Saw IV did as expected and crushed its opposition, easily taking 1st place with $32.1 million. Steve Carell’s Dan in Real Life opened in distant second place with $12.1 million. 30 Days of Night slipped one spot to 3rd with $6.7 million, while Tyler Perry’s Why Did I get Married tumbled to fourth with $5.7 million. George Clooney’s Michael Clayton rounded out the top 5 with an even $5 million.
