Underworld: Rise of the Lycans just missed top spot this weekend, being edged by Paul Blart: Mall Cop, which came in at about $21.5 million, while Underworld brought in $20.7 million. Even though Clint Eastwood was snubbed this week at the Oscar nominations, Gran Torino added $16 million to its gross ($97.5 million) and will be Clint's 3rd movie to break the $100 million barrier. Family comedy, Hotel for Dogs moved from 5th to 4th place with $12.4 million. The indie hit, Slumdog Millionaire pulled in another $10.5 million to round out the top 5.
