Liam Neeson's actioner, Taken took top spot with $24.6 million, knocking the previous champ, Paul Blart: Mall Cop into 2nd ($14.1 million). The mystery thriller, The Uninvited, opened in third with $10.5 million. Hotel for Dogs, moved to 4th with $8.7 million, and Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino rounded out the top 5 with $8.6 million.
