Weekend Box Office figures

Permanent Link by bootlegga on Mon Mar 26, 2007 9:00 am

300 was unseated as box office champ this weekend by another Warner's film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which took in $24.5 million. 300 was in 2nd with $20.5 million, while Mark Wahlberg's Shooter was in third with $14.6 million. Wild Hogs dropped two spots to 4th with $14.3 million and The Last Mimzy surprised in fifth place with $10.2 million.

Other new openings didn't fare so well. The Hills have Eyes 2 opened with only $10 million, while Adam Sandler's Reign Over Me opened in 8th with only 8.1 million, and Terence Howard's Pride opened in 9th with $4.0 million.

I think everything is where it should be. TMNT are awesome and 300 should still have success for many weeks.

Why is Adam Santler trying to be a serious actor? He's terrible at it and nothing will ever change his Billy Madison image.

I am not surprised with The Hills Have Eyes. The synospis is pretty lame.
Barack Obama is the first racial minority to be elected as leader of a country in all of human history. I might be wrong, but I have yet to find evidence otherwise.
