Weekend Box Office numbers

The raunchy teen comedy, Superbad, easily took first place this weekend ($31.2 million), blowing the Jackie Chan/Chris Tucker film, Rush Hour 3 into 2nd place, with only $21.8 million. Matt Damon's The Bourne Ultimatum slipped into third with $18.9 million. The Simpsons Movie moved into 4th with $6.7 million. The remake of the Body Snatchers starring Nicole Kidman, Invasion, opened disappiontingly in fifth with a mere $6.1 million.
Just another happy Canuckistanian living under the so-called US security umbrella...yes, I'm a sarcastic bastard.
