(This is aimed at Americans, but I thought I would post it here and get some feedback anyway)

I don't normally do this because I do my best to just pretend like politics do not exist, but hearing so much about Sen. Obama being the anti-Christ, a Muslim, a Marxist, anti-America... I just had to.

It's about 30 minutes long, but well worth your time.

I don't need or want your responses or opinions because honestly I could care less what anyone thinks on this issue, especially if you disagree with me. If you want to debate or heckle me, send me a message or something. Most of you know how to contact me.

This nation is driven by fear and I am entirely fed up with it. Why would you honestly believe everything that an opposer says of his opponent? You think McCain is there help you? Tell you not to vote for Barack Hussein Obama? No, he is there to put fear into your hearts. Political propaganda my friends.

Someone I know was quoted saying, with tears in her 60 year old eyes, "I think Obama is the anti-Christ"... really? Really people? Are your noses that shoved in Revelation as of late that you think a man vouching for change is worthy of being deemed the anti-Christ? That sickens me to laughter. That person, who is a devout Catholic, even said something about names of Middle Eastern descent... What? Please tell me where in the Bible (Other than Zebbediah 4:57) that it says the anti-Christ will have a name such as that.

And heaven forbid that Barack has a Muslim father. My mother believes in Tarot cards and horoscopes, does that mean I do? Hell no it doesn't.

Fear. As Americans it is necessary that we keep history in mind so that it does not repeat itself. A great president once said "We have nothing to fear, but fear itself".

This country needs change. Change...

Alright, I know that I was already told not to come to Canada you guys don't need anymore whack jobs running around (thanks for the warm welcome ), but I want to know what you guys think of your health care system.

It is common knowledge that one of the downsides of universal health care is that there can be/are long waiting lists. We have those too though with our HMO plans etc. I had to wait 2 months (not that bad, I know) to see a specialist this past year... and my sister died because the waiting list was so long for a specialist/transplant. So it's not like I haven't experienced waiting lists. I understand that part.

I am unsure of how many people read this blog, but for those of you that do, can you please fill me in here? I appreciate it, a lot.

When/if I move to Canada, should I give up my American citizenship and apply for a Canadian one? I will obviously make my own decision and don't need people to think for me, but I would like to know your opinions. In fact, I am already leaning toward the whole Canadian citizenship thing. Anyway, what do y'all think? [flag]

As an American, some may view it as my duty to be proud of my country. I cannot do that. I do not like it here. Some may say that I have the "grass is greener" syndrome. Maybe you agree too, but I don't :D.

Anyway, when/if I move to Canada (oh yes, there is a good chance of it), I might apply for citizenship as well. Considering I would really rather just forget I am an American (I've spent just about my whole life trying to do so), I don't see why I shouldn't.

Maybe it's bad that I think Canada > America. I also think that the Internet > RL... lol. Just kidding... mostly.

I don't know, I hope no one here gets on my ass about disliking America so much... but I do accept opinions etc. I don't actually expect anyone to read this. I just wanted to state that I really don't like America lol.

So yeah, have a good day
