Here is a turkey recipe that includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing. Imagine that!

When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try.

Size 18 lb turkey
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing
1 cup of uncooked popcorn
Salt & pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 220c.
Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt and pepper.
Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn.
Place in baking pan with the neck end towards the back of the oven.
Listen for popping sounds.
When the turkey's arse blows the oven door open and the chicken flies
across the room, it is done.

And you thought I couldn't cook. 8)

Right now I am fighting a battle. I prefer not to get into particulars (as you know I'm a fairly private person), but I have been wronged by "the system" and especially my insurance company.

Since I'm not getting much help from "the system", I've been e-mailing and writing to some local and national news agencies (Global BC and The Fifth Estate to name a couple) to see if I get any results from them. I doubt it, but hey, it can't hurt to try. Plus, I know I'm not the only person who's been mistreated like me. I've also written to an advocacy group, but have not yet received a response. :(

So if you have any other suggestions for me, PLEASE let me know, because I need as much assistance as possible.

Thanks in advance.

I saw an early screening of the movie Deja Vu last Thursday. I hadn't seen many previews for the movie yet, but from what I had seen I was somewhat intrigued.

The premise of the movie was an interesting one. A little unrealistic for these times, but different. The film stars Denzel Washington and co-stars Val Kilmer, who looks much older in this movie than his better days. The acting of course was great as where the many big explosive scenes. Sometimes the writing was a little too predictable though, and I'm still not sure if I can totally wrap my head around the ending.

Everyone has experienced the unsettling mystery of déjà vu - that flash of memory when you meet someone new you feel you've known all your life or recognize a place even though you've never been there before. But what if the feelings were actually warnings sent from the past or clues to the future? In the captivating new action-thriller from producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Tony Scott, written by Terry Rossio & Bill Marsilii, it is déjà vu that unexpectedly guides ATF agent Doug Carlin (DENZEL WASHINGTON) through an investigation into a shattering crime. I have a chat room at http://www.buzzen.com/ for all hockey chat. It's pretty cool when there are several people in there, and a good place to meet up and discuss current games or fantasy hockey. It's just like the old MSN chats before they started charging money.

My room is located on the People & Chat page under the heading Sport & Politics. You'll see it listed there (the only hockey chat room), about 5 down called 'The Penalty Box'. Here is a direct link to the room if you already have a Buzzen passport: http://www.buzzen.com/chat/chatroom.php?rhx=5468655c6250656e616c74795c62426f78

You'll have to register at Buzzen but it's free and easy, and you can access all sorts of different rooms.

Come on in! :D
