Two bits of news to pass along today...
I went to see the premiere of Miami Vice last night, and although I was expecting a retro 80s flashback to rolled up sleeves and no socks, I was treated to a very stylish and gritty cop show. It was much better than I expected and I think it should do well. I think Tricks might enjoy the shots of the Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifle blasting guys apart – I know I did. I've finally got my shit together enough to join CKA Radio. I'll be on at noon Monday - Friday broadcasting "Bootlegged Tunes", a variety of anything and everything I have, from cheesy music to Top 40 to dance to foreign language music (Japanese, French, Taiwanese, etc) to wahtever I feel like, as well as taking requests. If I've got it, I'll gladly play it. If not, I'll try to find it and play it another day...
