Not so shocking news…everything changes, nothing stays the same. Letting go of the way things are, anticipating instead what they might become, frees me to live each moment more fully.

Time marches on, and my destiny marches with it. I believe there is purpose in how my lives unfold; everything happens for a reason. Giving too much attention to either the past or the future interferes with my awareness of the present… and the present has come to teach me.

I must move with time. I must focus my attention on the moment and accept whatever feelings each experience elicits. Emotional maturity is accepting the feelings and letting them go and facing instead the next moment with fresh eyes.
