My sister is not well and everyday is a different challenge. For this, we're lucky and we're grateful because the only alternative is death. Now it's up to us. We must accept fate. When we're afraid, we try to look at the choices we have. No matter which way we choose to live it, we have to live it, of that there is no choice.

We can choose to be lucky or we can just sit idly by and wait for things to happen. The choice is ours. Cancer robbed us of many things but not of that. It taught us that whatever may happen, it’s the best possible thing that could happen. Now we see ourselves as responsible for our future. Best of all we still see a future.
