As the New Year begins, I bring you some famous words from history.

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." Martin Luther King Jr

Those are the words of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. He lived those words when he spoke out about Vietnam. He was not content to let the injustice of others go, while working towards ending his own oppression. He realised an important lessen that we all must realise. Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere.

It doesn't matter if it's Gang Stalking, or another oppressive force that is causing harm and injustice, these evils must be confronted in all their appearances. Silence is complacency.

Finally please remember these immortal words.

"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing." by Albert Einstein.

It's been an interesting New Year. My electronic harassment and pulse harassment seems to be at an all time high. Not surprising, my goals for the new year remains the same. Exposure and awareness. Maybe even finding some long term way to survive all this craziness.

There were a lot of events that happened over the New Year, many that I would like to talk about, and might even discuss at a later date and time, but the event that is utmost in my mind is the ground offensive that is happening over in Palestine.

I have not had a lot of time to pay attention to what was happening in that region of the world. I have honestly been focusing on my region of the world and doing what I can to expose Gang Stalking.

Yet for the last few days, my own troubles have not been foremost on my mind. Even as I am lying in my bed or sitting there trying to work, having my insides fried, my mind is elsewhere. I am thinking about what is happening in another...

<![CDATA[Charlotte Amalie . Virgo Intacta.]]> http://www.canadaka.net/blog/Istanbul/charlotte_amalie_virgo_intacta_b-1354.html 2007-01-19T11:12:00-08:00 2007-01-19T11:12:00-08:00 EmmyLou wants to send me a womanuscript she has just completed. I think that is what they call a manuscript when each page is dipped in perfume. 'Essence of Skin' is her favourite while I prefer 'Sultry Lilac'. Emmylou was a big shot in the perfume industry in her youth. She was chief sniffer in the testing department. With one quick underarm sniff she could analyse your dietary intake for the previous 48 hours. 'Essence of Skin' worked by blocking the sweat pores while 'Essence of Lilac' mixed with the sweat, pried it from the body and deposited the mixture on the sleeves of the shirt or blouse.
Fresh air would dilute the scent and Sunlight with bleach would eventually remove any stains.

This novel was EmmyLou's first book and wanted me to do a review. She claimed I was the man for the job as she knew I could read her like a book. In our intimate moments her pet name for me was Book Worm. I guess she felt she had to emphasize my intellectual side.

In preparation of this exiting adventure I looked for some simple book reviewing rules and stamped them on the back of my hand for quick reference.

1.Whats the Book's Purpose?

2. What did the author hope to accomplish?

3. The Book's Title
.. is the title ambidextrous? (Typo or hando?)

4. What are the author's main ideas?

EmmyLou already mentioned the book's purpose. To make lots of money and possibly used as a movie script for J-Lo and Brad Pitt.

The Book's title was "The lost Virgins".
It is supposed to be a really happy story about alot of lost Virgins who lived near Virgin Charlotte Amalie.

It will not be possible to begin organizing and writing the review until I receive the book itself. What better way to wile away the time than by fantasizing about all these lost Virgins?

Gus said he saw parts of the womanuscript,...

<![CDATA[BLAME THE VICTIM]]> http://www.canadaka.net/blog/samkorn/blame_the_victim_b-3159.html 2009-10-21T21:01:17-07:00 2009-10-21T21:01:17-07:00

Sure, blame the victim, as usual. Only in this case, he can't answer or defend himself - he's dead. You KILLED him!

What a poor and insensitive choice of words for RCMP lawyer, Ravi Hira, to tell Vancouver's Braidwood Inquiry that Robert Dziekanski "deserved to be stunned."

Shame on Hira, despite all the revelations of RCMP misconduct and incompetence at the Inquiry so far, for attempting to put the entire blame for this unfortunate incident on the victim, Robert Dziekanski, and claim that he got what he deserved.

No matter how distraught, disoriented and disheveled Dziekanski appeared to be at Vancouver's airport on October 14, 2007, the newly-arrived Polish immigrant did NOT "deserve" to be tazed to death.

Let's hope the lawyers defending Montreal Police, in the upcoming Freddy Villanueva inquest in Quebec, don't make the same mistake in their legal arguments. Villanueva was the innocent, unarmed 18 year-old Montreal North youth shot to death by SPCUM cops a year ago when he came to the aid of his older brother, who was being roughed up by those same cops.

DreamWorks Animation reported its earnings for the third quarter of 2006 on Tuesday and revealed that Shrek 4 will hit theaters in 2010. Also, the Puss in Boots movie, previously expected to go straight to DVD, will instead be a theatrical release sometime after Shrek 4.

"'Puss in Boots' is a unique creative property that has the potential to be a valuable extension of the 'Shrek' franchise," stated Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEO of DreamWorks Animation. "We are excited to be developing this into a feature film where we think it has the greatest opportunity."

The company announced that its new partnership with Nickelodeon has identified its first two creative concepts for ongoing television series based on DreamWorks Animation theatrical properties. The first will be based on the hit penguin characters from the company's 2005 theatrical release Madagascar and the second series will be derived from DreamWorks' 2008 theatrical release Kung Fu Panda.

Lastly, the company revealed its theatrical release slate for 2009 from its projects currently under development. Monsters vs. Aliens, the working title of an original concept from DreamWorks Animation, is scheduled for release in the summer of 2009. How to Train Your Dragon, based on the book by Cressida Cowell, is scheduled as the company's release for the 2009 fall/holiday season.

Of course, Dreamwork's next big movies to be released include this week's "Flushed Away" with stars, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet and Ian McKellen. The biggest Dreawork's franchise, Shrek, opens its third movie (Shrek the 3rd) on May 18, 2007.

These are dark days for James Bond fans. It will likely be years before 007 returns to the screen, thanks to money troubles at MGM, Bond’s longtime studio, which has been up for sale since November. Even Daniel Craig seems to have moved on, signing up for the lead in a different potential franchise, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

The last time the Bond series was put on this sort of “indefinite” hold was back in the early 1990s, after a series of legal battles (and Timothy Dalton) nearly wrecked the series. It took six years to get it up and running again. And in Hollywood today, six years is an eternity. “No franchise can afford to be away from screens for that long anymore,” says a former MGM exec. “You lose too much momentum. Even for Bond, it could be deadly.” Of course, Bond has defied death before — just ask Blofeld — so we’re not counting him out just yet.

One possibility: “[MGM] should sell the Bond franchise for a billion dollars to some sovereign company in Abu Dhabi and promise to make Bond movies in Abu Dhabi from now on,” suggest one financial analyst familiar with the MGM sale. The name is Bond, Jamal Bond. We could live with that.

It was three more years on the "circuit" til they finally got their first real break; they recorded 2 sets of demos with legendary producer Elliot Mazur whose previous credits included the likes of Janis Joplin, Journey and Neil Young and were FINALLY noticed by Walter Stewart in '77, the road manager for Johnny Rivers, and signed to a deal with Parachute Records.

Their self-titled debut album dropped the following year and they released two singles; "Queen Of The Night", which failed to make any headway up the charts but it wasthis weeks featured tune that took them to the top of the heap for 5 weeks in Canada and even made Billboards top 30!

1979 was a year of transition for the group, though still early in their career. They released KEEP IT ALIVE that summer and found gold with "Love Struck". Anything but your typical 'I love you - the sky is blue' ballad, it quickly raced up the charts and is still a favourite of classic rock radio stations today. Two others, "Don't Ya Hide It" and "Crying Again Tonight" also ran the charts, stoppin at 11 and 13 respectively.

Despite their relative success things continued to change...Webster left to join Red Rider (who later joined up with Tom Cochrane) and was replaced by Lewis Nitikman. Their fourth album, NEW SET OF CHANGES hit the stores later that year but even a mediocre cover of The Beatles' "Please Please Me" couldnt help it..... disco was king and the way...

Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks Animation SKG each announced today that they will exclusively support the next-generation HD DVD format on a worldwide basis. The exclusive HD DVD commitment will include all movies distributed by Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks Pictures, Paramount Vantage, Nickelodeon Movies and MTV Films, as well as movies from DreamWorks Animation, which are distributed exclusively by Paramount Home Entertainment.

The companies each said that the decision to distribute exclusively in the HD DVD format resulted from an extensive evaluation of current market offerings, which confirmed the clear benefits of HD DVD, particularly its market-ready technology and lower manufacturing costs. Paramount Home Entertainment will launch its exclusive HD DVD program with the release of the blockbuster comedy hit Blades of Glory on August 28th and follow with two of the biggest grossing movies of the year Transformers and Shrek the Third. These three titles alone represent more than $1.5 billion in box office ticket sales worldwide.

"The combination of Paramount and DreamWorks Animation brings a critical mass of current box office hits to consumers with a line-up of live action and animated films that are perfect for HD DVD," stated Brad Grey, Chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures, which is currently the leading studio in domestic box office. "Part of our vision is to aggressively extend our movies beyond the theater, and deliver the quality and features that appeal to our audience. I believe HD DVD is not only the affordable high quality choice for consumers, but also the smart choice for Paramount."

"We decided to release 'Shrek the Third' and other DreamWorks Animation titles exclusively on HD DVD because we believe it is the best format to bring high quality home entertainment to a key segment of our audience -- families," stated DreamWorks Animation CEO, Jeffrey Katzenberg. "We believe the combination of...

Matt Reeves is in early talks with Paramount to direct a Cloverfield sequel, and, as was previously announced, he has also made a deal with GreeneStreet Films to direct The Invisible Woman.

Variety says the timing of the projects will depend on how quickly Paramount can complete discussions with Reeves, producer J.J. Abrams and writer Drew Goddard to come up with another monster story for the Cloverfield sequel. There's a good chance the sequel will be Reeves' next film, in which case he will direct The Invisible Woman afterward.

"Woman" is a Hitchcock-style thriller that probes the mind of a former beauty queen who turns to a life of crime to protect her family.

Reeves wrote the script and will produce with Abrams and GreeneStreet's John Penotti, Fisher Stevens and Tim Williams.

Frankly, I find this amazing because Cloverfield is only at $64 million after 2 weeks and might have a tough time making more than $200 million. Perhaps it will make a lot on DVD.]]>
