I'm going to Ottawa for a week at the end of February, and I was looking for those ever-popular tips on where to go. My girlfriend is living there for a few months, so she'll have a lot planned, but I was hoping to get some ideas from some residents.

We're looking for nice restaurants - I like the sounds of one called e18hteen, mainly because it's close to her house, and it's got ostrich on the menu, which I told her I'm definately getting if we choose it. Anyone have any opinions on that, or where else we should look? As long as the menu is in english, I'm game.

As for places we're going, I know we'll be going to the Museums of Civilization and Nature, and probably the Art Gallery. She'll definately be dragging me to the Hill. Other than that, I didn't have any ideas, so is there something less obvious I should consider?

Hopefully I'll get a few responses, so thanks in advance!!

I thought I killed my dog yesterday.

It's Thanksgiving weekend, so I headed up to Squamish to have dinner at my sister's. I stopped in North Van to pick up my niece and her baby - they'd arrived from Alberta the night before, and were staying at her in-law's. It was nice having company for the drive, especially since we don't get a chance to see each other much anymore.

When we arrived at Mum's, Randi ran into the house to get rid of some of the Venti Iced Tea Lemonade she'd been drinking, so I took the baby out of his car seat and with him in one arm and my puppy in the other I walked toward the back gate. Just as I was reaching for the latch, Willy jumped out of my arms and landed with a sickening *splat* right on his side. He didn't move. I quickly sat Kaden on the driveway and carefully picked the dog up, worrying at the same time that I shouldn't, but not wanting the last thing he knew in this life to be cold wet pavement.

Randi picked Kaden up and we went into the house, where we checked the dog out. He held his head out at an awkward angle, and didn't move. Eventually we noticed he rolled his eyes a little, so I put my hand on his chest and was relieved to feel a heartbeat and breathing. I put him on the floor to see if he could move, and I don't know if I was relieved that he could or even more scared to see him drag himself in a circle, much like the hamster we used to have. :(

I think he must have winded himself, because about a half hour later, he was back to normal, but even a day later I can still hear the sound of him landing on the ground.

Dinner that night was great. My sister hosted this year, and everyone was there except my oldest brother's family and my kids. It's getting harder to gather everyone together at one time, so it's nice to have as many...

<![CDATA[Conspiracy of two]]> http://www.canadaka.net/blog/gangstalking/conspiracy_of_two_b-2700.html http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/featu ... rentPage=1

The above article is an update on Jeremy Blake and Theresa Duncan. The alleged double suicide?

For those who don't know the story, they were saying they were being harassed, spied on, monitored, etc by scientologist and maybe the government. If you read the article above in full, you will see a lot of similarities to some of the things that Gang stalking targets talk about. They even ended up moving from L.A. to New York.

A few days before her death she and Jeremy had made some really successfull inroads in getting a film she wanted produced. They had written a 27 page documentation about their harassment and were thinking of suing the church of Scientology. This never happened of course.

The article give a lot of information, and is worth reading before it disappears or is archived elsewhere. I really believe this is a case of what we have all been waiting for. The deaths have made it around in a lot of circles and the mystery or possible mystery has not died down yet. The only thing is, my blog and a couple of others related to Gang Stalking are the only ones at the time that I could find who covered the story, even though I did take the time to drop off the article on a certain forum.

Below are some quotes from the article. Alone they never mean much, but in conjunction it makes me think this story is worth looking into. Remember it's the same system in the end, and if these two were Gang Stalking targets, then we should acknowledge that and give credence to their memories.

<![CDATA[Playing both sides.]]> http://www.canadaka.net/blog/gangstalking/playing_both_sides_b-2572.html
I was recently on the brainsubjegation forums, not the real real name. Anyways I received an email about a list of perps. (Snitches or Citizen Informants pretending to be targets, but who are really just there to mess up the lives and efforts of targets.)

Though the list seems more or less accurate, there were a couple of names there that I hope are wrong, but probably not. Anyways I always try to remind targets to not get caught up in this stuff. One of the things these people like to do is play both sides.

Meaning early on I learnt that you will have two people both pretending to be targets, however they will argue with each other and accuse the other of being a perp this, and perp that and in the end, they both end up being perps. I have blogged about this before. What ends up happening is that the target feels forced to choose sides. They end up feeling that if the two are arguing, at least one has to be a real target right? Wrong.

It never changes, and at the end of the day who knows who is on whos side, the only thing you can do is just be on your side, be aware of how this works and try not to fall into the trap of it.

In the end it just keeps the target in a constant state of anxiety, because they don't know what to believe or who to trust. Trust yourself.

A lot of sites online past and present are not run by real targets. Even sites you think should be. I try to put forward the sites I think you can trust, but even I could be wrong. I am perfect, wish I was. So just learn to do a lot of research for yourself. Had I trusted the people that were online when I came on, I would not be where I am today.

I was lucky to do a lot of my own research and once I started going out in public again,...

The first was how the article came to use the term extreme communities. I did read over the Vaughan Bell article was a reference is made to such communities.

Quote:
Extreme communities

One feature that has garnered relatively little attention in the clinical research literature is the
existence of what might be termed ‘extreme communities’. Owing to the difficulty with which
material can be effectively censored or suppressed online, views considered extreme or
unacceptable to the mainstream can be expressed relatively freely, with online communities often
formed by those who share similar opinions. Some of these are of particular interest to mental
health professionals, as they attempt to reframe what would otherwise be classified as ‘mental
disorder’ in an entirely different light.

According to what Dr Bell wrote in the article it was views considered extreme or unacceptable by the mainstream. Using this definition I wondered if things such as the 9/11 truth movement would be an extreme community? Their views are not considered mainstream. I also wondered who else might fall into this list based on Dr Bell's definition?

Websites that cover conspiracy topics might well meet his definition of extreme communities. Many of the subject matters covered on websites such as http://www.AboveTopSecret.com would fall into this category. They would be a website of mini patches of extreme communities.

Another factor that I thought should be calculated in when defining a community as an extreme community is the obvious, is the community helpful vs harmful? What ki...

<![CDATA[The System 2]]> http://www.canadaka.net/blog/gangstalking/the_system_2_b-2027.html

So when I wrote my last post a couple of days ago, I think I was starting to get this, but I don't think I really got this. I was sitting on a bench the other day and this little Asian boy and his family passed by. He was skipping along just young, innocent, happy, unaware of the evils of the world I would say. His parents were doing the snitch patrol thing, but he was just being a kid, unaware of it all, and then I think I finally got it. (Well some of it.)

Just like I would have been this happy kid, not skipping along, but unaware of the world, and this systemic system that is before me. Much like that kid, I probably had adults in my life who were aware of this snitching system, and who were also a part of this. Much like him, I lived and grew oblivious to this system. Much like some of the other targets. The same targets who are seeing these family patterns, we are all assuming it's something recent, because how could any of us envision a system that is like this.

At some point the targeted ones, are not for whatever reason absorbed into the Borg system, and maybe they do something that is out of line with our little controlled system. I mean I am still in the mode where I am thinking that my sensitization was accidental, but just like Mark and the other targets, there is probably nothing accidental about this stuff. It's all used for purposes of control. Thus why they try to attach (Anchor) other sensitizations to the original one. (As was attempted with me last year.)

I would or couldn't see this a year ago, not six months ago, maybe a month ago, but I get it now, well sort of. I think the problem is that most targets keep thinking this is brand new, most of us don't think that something like this could exist in society and why would we? I mean we are taught one thing, and apparently the truth is something quite different. What I don't get is why not just be honest about it?

China is pretty open about their snitching,...
