Wolf Within

A sweet kitty cat on the outside, but ... Beware of that Wolf Within

I've halted moving stuff into the house and I've just been going to feed the furbabes that are already there. I balled my eyes out on the friggin steps up there last night.
The last thing I need is more disappointment and I so dislike being at the end of a bloody yo-yo string.
I did go a little gun hoe I guess you could say, so very excited with the thought of getting back up on our feet. Maybe a little too gun hoe, too much information for the chap that owns the house and his girlfriend - I went speeding ahead and told them of all my plans, I felt it better that all the cards were on the table so that there'd be no surprises - and there seemed to be a solid agreement in place between the men!

I was total game in spite of the work that needs to be done... I do sorta work magic on houses and I'm certainly not afraid of applying elbow grease. I thought it was to be a benefit to all parties concerned.
An agreement was made between the 2 men and then things changed and changed again.
We meet on Sunday to hopefully come to an agreement and get appropriate papers signed.
I'm worried, no very worried.
I'm short a board member and invited one of the parties to participate so that they'd always know what the shelter and programs are up to and to have a peace of mind that not only was there a good tenant, but one who was trying to make a difference and help people in a discreet and private way.
No worries, just some pride for a change - but we'll see on Sunday.
Wish us well, the crew, my grandson and I, need a place to call "home" and move forward.
What an emotional roller coaster ride I've been on - it's becoming a lifestyle as opposed to "occurances"
I hope that they (the chap and his other half) don't view my business as imposing or disapprove everything was ok and now for some reason, it isn't - too many changes and control on a home that was supposedly wished to be bulldozed...($$$$$$) and probably should be - however, I see that with alot of work, it can be restored to workable - that's my original trade and I'd do it for the cost of help with supplies. When I stopped working 5 yrs ago, I was at approx $30 an hour - my fee.

Hopefully, I'll be able to point out the benefits to all parties concerned and that all my gun hoe didn't overload them with information. I have alot of plans that are needed to make things work and as the house sits, I'd be back up and running by Spring next year.
I really do want to fix it up, it's a challenge well worth undertaking providing, everyone benefits and it's not just ONE sided.
I need that house, but will move what's there, if they change their minds again.
I want to be a good tenant, someone they speak of with pride.
Hope to be back on Sunday with GOOD NEWS!
