Wolf Within

A sweet kitty cat on the outside, but ... Beware of that Wolf Within

OMG - all I keep telling myself over the past week and a bit - is never again!!
Never again do I ever want to let the paperwork fall so far behind - no matter what!
I'd done up to 98 - and there was a prob with my 2nd husband who had filed me under him, so that had to be straightened out.
I've been a contractor for almost 30 years and that's how I've filed and unfortunately my hubby was on A.J.E. due to steel pins and hip replacements from an old motorsycle accident. After things were straightened out, he tried to get alimony - and I suppose when the woman makes more than the hubby, that's how it all works, but we'd only been married for 6 months when we seperated - so, I held off for a couple of years, allowing my income to drop - and we know what that means.
So, I finally did my 99's - 00's and almost completed 01's.
In the meantime, Kat sorted out 2003's and I hardly have any paperwork for 2002 - lost a bit here and there, but I do have all the print outs of the old Vet billing and food/litter receipts.

Once I get my 04's-05's-06's completed, mine and the shelters, I have a bank that will permit me a loan on my TP1's and charity filings - and I don't have to wait for government results, due to the fact that the non profit's taxes need to be audited - that will be good enought for them.
We are not making a purchase for the society, however, it will show how much I do donate in funds, which tallies and will be helpful in showing my income.
I explained that upon relocation, showing an investment, that sponsors will provide assistance and that reduces my personal spendings with the society - giving me a few more bucks in my own pocket that I can use to pay a mortgage.

So the race is on, my head feels like a pumpkin and thank goodness, Kat's on the ball, she's picked off receipts that I had placed in envelopes for the right month, just not the right year..... A-N-D .....
....A..N..D...
she picked off purchase receipts off of a particular cash register - where I shopped frequently, that showed both my Credit Card's full numbers, with no case sensitive stars that block out a percentage of the numbers. November 2003 and up - I may have "slacked off" however, I've always kept my cashier receipts when making purchases with any of my cards - to verify them with my monthly statements.
.....Also...
this is the same store where my cashier receipts started coming out in French as opposed to english - at a later date
'Nd in all seriousness, without trying to be presumptuous, all 3 of us kinda wondered, if there was a motive behind, sliding my cards, under the cash register when someone else walked in, with the invite to chitty chat and have coffee, so I'd walk out and leave my cards behind. Why not just hand themback when someone else walked on and why the distraction of invites, chat and coffee -
Both my gals have been around when I use to think I dropped or misplaced any one of my cards, when in fact they were in someone elses hands - someone who already knew my full numbers, but just didn't have the pin that was manufactured on the backs. Wouldn't be too hard to watch me when I'm a foot away while entering my password on my debit card - ok, I'll stop now, but it is just one "coincidence" after another.
So the faster we get everything sent out, the faster I get a new place...
I was given another 14 day eviction notice, however, no mention of my $1,200 overpayment in lieu of the fact that because I chose to live in a condemned house, the only price - by law - that I was to pay for the house, was the insurance -
I won't be out till the end of September - at least! If by some miracle, something comes up before, I'd more than gladly accept! Flushing the toilet by buckets - is not my favorite pass time and I can hardly wait to take a hot shower before bed - oh gawd, how i miss that!!!!!! And better still, is to pull out fresh warm laundry from the dryer, after it's been washed in a washing machine! Funny how "neccesities" aren't just neccessities, they are a comfort zone, a safety net of sorts, that makes us feel at home, feel comfortable, refreshed and whole - as an individual.
How I can hardly wait to move!!!!
so, I'll be at the books for the next 2 weeks, then everything goes out and all I need are the copies of the tax forms and that will do for the bank!
Finally, something to look forward to and work towards -
(kinda a shame, cuz this house had teh potential to be a home and I will miss it for that reason!)
