Wolf Within

Three weeks ago, we had a car in tow when the fellow's truck overheated and the car was left on the side of a back road for almost 2 weeks.
Nothing happened to it - I'd written a note that was placed in the car within 2 days - with my phone number - the RC's did in fact call and rather than have it towed again - costing more money, it got fixed on the spot and driven the rest of the way - it had a bad altinator.
Within 4 days, it was registered and plated.
Then the chap that gave it, asked if he could use it, he swore that something happened to his van while visiting here. (he has a place in Stavely some 100 kms away but stays here on occasion to help me keep an eye on things- we've been buds for 10 yrs.
He used the car and the back wheel fell off, so he went into a place in Nanton and had the car checked - tie rods etc... The tire got put on with a hydrolic drill and fell off again within 3 days!
In the meantime, my friend's van got fixed, so the car got parked off side the house and he used his van.
When he pulled up last week, he started flipping and called me outside.

Empty of Gas and 2 flat tires - and a homeowners brother who has caused us a pile of more shit to deal with (the bro is about 50 yards away - drinks with the locals who first began all the problems and with his "reports" to his family - his retired parents are upset - with me and we have to move - right).
No point in calling the RC's - I'll just get asked if I got a picture of the person in the act - ya ok....
Since 2001, I have endured acts of vandalism - yet no one has answered to any of it. That's cool.In 2002, I started a website called the Village Herald - it had links for farm equip, info on Government Grants available, I wrote a couple of articles concerning bullies in small communities and I did a pile of research on communities across Canada with demographics relatively similar to this county - as examples of how other communities survive and what they do to help employment of their residents - I also wrote articles on Industry, I even contacted firms and asked if they'd be interested in building in our area to create employment for residents.... I started a website called news4creativeminds.com (non excistant now) that received 135,000,000 hits in the first year. Thsi site contained all my concepts in decorating, monthly step by step projects and I was beating Debbie Travis in the search engines (yes, I printed them up!)
This site was to promote the many MANY talents of local residents to help them make additional income - everyone was complaining!!!!
Word has gotten back to me over the past few weeks, that the locals aren't pissed off because of the animals and what I've been doing - it's because of the Village Herald!@!!!!!!!???? O.K.

It's still up even tho I don't even remember the passwords anymore[/url] I was called a royal bitch for putting up the site! I invited locals to give me events to post, crafts for sale etc - but no one came forward and all I got was "you think you're pretty smart don't you?" - no actually, everyday is a learning experience and all I was trying to do was help my community!!!!!!! Very repressed community!
*** As of recent, the local Ford Dealership just closed. Losing yet another pillar in the area and major jobs.
There are 2 restaurants in the town's hotel/inn - closed (i heard one might be re-opening) Pretty bad when the local inn and hotel don't have a restaurant for their customers.
The old food store on main st. - closed and apparently 2 women from Toronto bought it (omg - outsiders) and are opening a Bargain Store.
Stedmans was for sale...
The Toonie or Two - for sale and the list goes on - in a town of 1,200 (maybe it's 1,400 now) people!
Not Good.
I use to work waitressing at the inn's restaurant - not too many employment opportunities and ya take what you can get.
As of recent, I tried a couple of builders so I can follow my trades in contracting - I was told no and the last one I spoke to, basically told me that I won't get any kind of a job around here ever again! Maybe dishwashing - they have to employ their own and my name is voodoo....
I've had a lot to think about in the past 2 weeks - I feel VERY beat up, morally, emotionally and physically.

To top it off, about 3 weeks ago, a couple of the crew were vomitting and getting diahrea, clean, clean clean and I made the sick ones some of my Rice Pablum Special - confined them in case there was a start of something, but I couldn't see that happening because - there's been no new animals brought in since we came out here 8 months ago - with exception to a big black and white male that kept coming in the trap and wouldn't leave when I'd open it for him. But he was brought in within a week of coming out here.
I was puzzled. Then the crew started turning their nose up at the food, picking only the higher quality food I mix in - so I contacted Walmart where I buy the food (and I implement a higher quality food we got from the Wholesaler) but Walmart would not give me the name of the supplier! Big Secret!
Too bad, maybe I could have helped avoid a lot of grief to some people and their pets.
I've had 26 sick animals in total, no fatalities thank goodness and there are only 4 left that are still having some problems and are eating and drinking normally again - so they should all be fine in a week.
I do not blame MenuFoods - but I do blame China for selling them Rat Poisioned Rice!!!
Menu Foods sells over 120 - brands of Pet Food - (i read somewhere that one person thought they just made Iams - nah nah nah, they've been established for many years and it's taken them time to get to where they are. 120 brands is a lot of pet food! They did have another problem in 2003, but they are not accountable to the sick mind's of people, let alone poisoned rice from a trusted company in China - I say 3 strikes against China! They do try and control the market on everything and I wouldn't doubt they are trying to control the pet market - afterall, it is absolutely unforgivable what they do to dogs and cats there!!!
I am still upset that they manufacture "Pet Stuffies" made with REAL CAT FUR AND DOG FUR - and Canadian buy the damn things - hello!!!!!!

Years ago, ASPIRIN had an employer that revenged himself on the company by putting poison into the misture and a lot of people got sick! Was it the comapny's fault that that happened? I personally don't think so, but the gent that did it, was caught and punished.

At any rate, I am contacting MEnuFoods even tho it is an unopportune time, to seek their sponsorship - I'll be more than glad to report directly to them if something is going on with my crew - to let them know that they might have a problem stirring - who knows, the worst they can say is - no and if they say yes, I gain a sponsor that can help me find a place to go and get my programs back up and running. That's where my concerns are.... and as for that gal who actually ate the dog food, I hope she learned a good lesson!!!!
That was her choice rather than take her dog to a Vet!!!
I hope she is made to feel pretty silly about coming forward with such a ridiculous claim!
AS I'm sure that most pet owners know, if your pet is not eating they are either
1.) Not hungry
2.) Under the weather and need to be observed or taken in to the Vet
3.) Something is not right with the food
BUT to eat it oneself - well that's a matter of personal choice I guess and I hope she learned the 3 rules of why her pet wasn't eating!!!!!!
