Somehow I haven't been as screwed over by jet lag as on previous trips I've made (especially the last time I was in Germany when it took me a few days to get over it). As a result, I've already gotten some sightseeing done.
This is the Paderborner Döm which is officially the biggest church I've ever been in and I haven't even been to Cologne yet (I'm going on Thursday). Say what you will about the Catholic Church, they sure knew how to spend a lot of money towards the glory of God.
This is St. Michael's cloister which is also really neat to look at. What's ironic though it that right around the corner is a sex shop just in case the nuns need a little something something I suppose.
What's also neat here in Paderborn is there wre some recently excavated ruins that are most likely from the time of Charlemange. Apparently Karl der Große spen a lot of time in the area.
Til next time.....
