Xerxes' Errata

Well it's been an interesting week for me so far. On Wednesday I drove down to Seattle to see Real Madrid play DC United in the awesome stadium they have there. The stadium was packed and the crowd was boisterous to say the least. The game wasentertaining as well even though it ended as a 1-1 draw. Of course most of the big stars were playing. Beckham, Nistelrooy, Roberto Carlos, Cannavaro, and so on.

The only thing that sucked about the day was the insane traffic on the way to Seattle. I had left Abbotsford 4 hourse before kickoff in case I ran into traffic (which I did) which wasn't enough. I missed the first 5 minutes or so becuase the traffic was so thick. That, and I forgot just how bumpy and crappy the I-5 is.

But what was really interesting was what happened today. I was eating lunch and as I was cleaning my plate I looked out the window and saw this:



I have no idea what they were doing or what they were looking for, I'm just happy they didn't feel the need to bust down our door or hate on my car (the green Ford you see). Here's another pic:



Maybe someone can help me out. Take a look at the guy on the side of the blakc Ford Explorer: If anyone can tell me what it is he's carrying I would be very grateful.

Either way, it was quite a thing to see. Makes me wonder what the neighbors are up to.

Oh, and the Airshow is on this weekend and the jets are making their usual, enjoyable racket.
