You ever do something that cost you and you can't really curse fate because it was all your fault? Well I did that last night. A bit of setup: the lock on my car's passenger side doesn't get affected by the driver side lock so, if someone rides with me, and they don't lock it, it doesn't lock when I lock my car. So naturally, last night, the one night, the one night, I neglect to notice my car door is unlocked, someone breaks in (or I should say gets in) and tries to rip my steroe out. The guy only succeeds at ripping my faceplate off and making it so I can't get my Cd out of it now. Thank you asshole.
And the worst part is, it's all my fault. I didn't lock my door, and I forgot to take my stereo out. Of course I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Abbotsford, is now the worst city in Canada when it comes to property crime. We're also 3rd worst in the cournty when it comes to murders per 100,000 people. Yay!
I heard a great suggestion some years back. Instead of sending people to jail, the cops should just break people's knees who steal cars and break into people's houses. That way, they'll have a permanent limp and you'll know who's a thief as you walk down the street., so you can kick their ass and then run away.
And another thing. Why must it be so hot. the last three days it's been about 40 degrees here in BC. Why why why why why why??? Which gods have we here in the west offended so as to suffer this heat? Don't they realise people have to sleep and work and live in this heat? Do we have to go see Al Gore's movie to make it cooler??
