On the other hand, great players are litteraly Gods here. Cammalleri and Gionta are revered by the fans. People here know what Price is capable of, but what piss some dudes off is when he don't play like he sould play. Fans won't expect Hal Gill to play like Raymond Bourque, but he's a fan favorite...

Does Quebec have a "national anthem"? Why, yes, they do. L'Internationale Debout les damnés de la terre Debout les forçats de la faim La raison tonne en son cratère C'est l'éruption de la fin Du passe faisons table rase Foules, esclaves, debout, debout Le monde va changer de base N...

But anyway, the thing I find really over-the-top is that Charest himself asked excuses for the people here. That's so wrong.

*sigh* Why do so many Quebecers have to be so damn reactionary? The article and Maclean's aren't condemning Quebec or its people, but the political situation there. Let's face it, Maclean's pretty much nailed it with this one. Sure, there's corruption everywhere but it's so widespread and open in Q...

I worked for 23 years for the only Québec owned "bank".... I won't tell you which one but I'll give you a hint... cooperative. Very well treated on all regards, better than all the other banks from what I heard by employees of those banks. I saw a lot of people that left the other banks t...

Quebec bashing my ass, they clearly said it wasn't to be interpreted as a condemnation of the people. There is definitely more POLITICAL scandals coming out of Quebec and the Quebec govt. I look at it like this, if someone called me gay, it wouldn't real bother me, I would let it be known that it w...

Quebec has not bad criminal code, it was the first code of foreign country that I was reading :) Criminal Code is the same that the ROC, lol :P Civil Code is a tad different. But the issue here is that the recent events lead people here to think that the Government is probably corrupt to the bone.

Curious, what other liberties are Canadians willing to surrender in exchange for a little transitory safety?

That's highly ironic coming from someone living in a nation with not one, but two Patriot Acts...

The fact is that I completly agree with that article, and probably that most of the people agree too. What I meant is that, nationalist figures AND provincial government (they dare!) AND some media figures jump on that wagon. But seriously, that article was right on. We need a change in the governme...

I'm totally for this. There's too many accidents caused by drunktards, enough of this.
