Jabber you have a serious misconception about police duties. Believe it or not a cops job isn't to enforce the law it's to maintain the current order. It's why we don't see cops marching in to arrest CEOs when they break the law and instead see them get a gentle slap on the wrist. It maintains the c...

Woah OTI, that'd cause economic chaos, I'm sure. A baffling amount of workers work while sick, especially chronic sicknesses. Part of paying to be alive is working while you're dying, I thought that was something that was expected of us. Sure, many people do work with chronic illness by they don't ...

Doing anything the public would preceive as illegal in uniform shouldn't be allowed period. it's fine that it's legal for him and it's great if it helps with his PTSD but if I saw a Mountie toking up in public I'm not going to know he's got a medical license for it. I'm going to see an RCMP officer ...

PIZZA HUT MANAGER OFFERED JOB BACK http://www.edmontonsun.com/2013/11/28/pizza-hut-manager-fired-for-refusing-to-open-on-thanksgiving-offered-job-back Oh sounds like the marketing department didn't like the bad PR. Guarantee this wouldn't have happened if this hadn't made the news. Personally this ...

Why did they take the job in the first place knowing it's open on TGD? Not only that but they probably would have provided the only hot meal a bunch of couch monsters would ever see on TGD. Firstly this is the first year the place is going to be open for TGD. Secondly it's not usually something tha...

As well they should. I'm all fine and dandy with a store opening on any holiday if it has volunteers that want to run the store but no employee should be forced to work on Thanksgiving against their will.

http://econperspectives.blogspot.ca/2008/10/us-inflation-rates-since-1956.html It's not that what your saying is wrong Bart but more that rates are already so crazy low in comparison to 1956 that Ed was actually making about the exact same rate as today's minimum wage earners. When you do the math t...

Who said I was siding with anyone? I'm just being skeptical given the lack of facts which I admit I should have investigated more closely.

I made a mistake and for that I apologize. What's more fuck this woman for dragging a family through the mud for her own sense of self righteousness.

Hold on a second. How do we even know this is the same family that the server had not tip.

The server never named anyone and this family came forward on their own? Common am I the only one here who sees this is more then a little odd.

This has been said again and again and again in this thread so I'll state it one last time or frankly this is going to start looking insane. If the argument that legalizing or decriminalizing one substance would substantially reduce organized crime we wouldn't have nearly the levels of organized cri...

Legislation is not the way to address this situation, but something needs to be done. It's what I like to call "Don't buy their products . . ." No, the 'something that needs to be done' is for leftards to start their own businesses, pay their employees a 'living wage', limit their own com...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that senior executives are more than 12 times more valuable to the company than the lowest level employees. It depends on your angle the size of your company. We only have 135 employees where I work and the CEO is payed about 18 times what some of our lowest st...
