Meh no matter what the NDP does rural Albertans are still going to rage. I would be more worried about corporate farm lobbies attaching themselves to the Wildrose.

I'm surprised Trudeau didn't go with Andrew Leslie for defense. He was chief of the army if memory serves.

Leslie might have turned it down, knowing what the job is going to be like. Though I would not be surprised if Sajjan seeks Leslie out for advice now and again.
