I remember when I was a kid, 5 or 6, maybe 7 years old, we didn't even use 7 digits. For local calls we just used five. The prefix here is 699, but we got away with dialing 9-1234, or whatever the phone number was. When I was a kid on the farm, we still had the old crank phones. 'Town' had dial pho...

I was absolutely boggled when I read this! A wacked out 'psychic' (read psycho) is reason to bring allegations of child abuse? Give me a break! I agree, we may need an 'embarassed to be a Canadian' forum.
