Jacob, Being ex-military and trained with firearms, I can tell you that we are always taught to shoot at the center of body mass - and this goes triple for pistols which are highly inaccurate. This is not due to some bloodthirty machismo - an arm or leg is actually quite difficult to hit at any dist...

Well, the title is truthful anyway. I have no doubt that every person who's signature is on the treaty documents has benefitted GREATLY. Its just that the rest of us are paying their benefits.

I'm convinced that the pentagon was hit by a plane, not a missile. What kind of plane and whether or not it had a pilot flying it remains unclear. Remote control planes are a breeze to do today - hell, the Pentagon was going to blow up a remote controlled passenger jet over cuba in order to justify ...

Exactly the point. Without the Fox-a-likes in power, the NAU wouldn't get off the ground.

Now I want to see what happens in Mexico, I fear a civil war.

It would be much easier if this were a dictatorship - as long as he were the dictator.

Oh well, he got the dictator part down, not he just has to change a few more little things and he has his dictatorship too.

Discussion elsewhere is predicting that Bush will use this or a similar old royalty priviledge law to let him run for another term. If another 9/11 is in the works, then he may even forgo election altogether and pull a Hitler.

Oh come on, children throwing rocks at tanks doesn't compare at all to cluster bombing population centres. Cluster bombs kill children just as well as adults and the mines kill more children than adults.

The rocks? Well, tanks don't care about rocks.

Oh really? When did we get to vote for free trade? Mulroney was not elected on a free trade platform and the liberals were AGAINST it when they were campaigning then flipped around and implemented what we voted them in to deny.

We did not vote for these trade laws, we voted AGAINST them.

Actually, every person that I've told about this that has not simply gone blank with that "He's seen a UFO" look, have all been vehement in their opposition. Particularly when I show them the part about the Federal Reserve taking over Canada's money so we're burdened with the USA's $49 tri...
