I like the bit about the police use the registry every day. So the cops have to search a house for suspected drugs..... they look on the registry for registered guns..... Oh goody, no guns registered there..... only to be met with a hail of bullets from the unregistered guns. Just another crock of ...

I cant help but think that most native complaints would probably go away if they got involved with the political process.

Instead of protests anywhere they think they could make a buck, either join a party and run for office or form one.

no it's not. Its political oportunism and they are natorious for it. Either way were about to be teated to an anouncement on some new legislation that requires personal interviews with a provincial justice before you can legally purchase a fire arm. The deal is that senators at he moment, aren't elected but appointed. So what Alberta has started to do is to hold elections for people who they feel should be in the Senate. But because the election is essentially meaningless, Harper has to appoint that person. Hope that clears it up. Not quite. H...

Well of course they can't nationalize quebec hydro natural resources are provincial jurisdiction unless you count when the federal government ran manitobas for 50 years or NEP I and soon to be NEP II. There wont be a NEP II, not unless the nation becomes collectivly retarded and elects Dion or Layt...
