Halifax is beautiful and some of the nicest people in the country! I've lived in NS my whole life and in Halifax for the last couples years while I finish up my degree.

the RAH-66 Comanche project was actually scrapped for monetary reasons, costs more to make it than to just upgrade existing attack helos. If Canada did get some they would most likely be either AH-1Z Super Cobras or AH-64 Apaches but I would be surprised if we announced an attack helicopter contract...

with a modern ground force and big transport helicopters I'd say it's long overdue for Canada to own it's own fleet of attack choppers.
