Sounds like he's got an axe to grind with Blackett because Blackett didn't come to his rescue after he printed those Danish Mohammed cartoons...

Hey Ezra, you know why your conservative government is so socialist: Because if they were conservative like you no one would vote for them.

If Ezra spent half the time he dedicates to being parinoid and hateful on something productive, he'd be a national treasure.

Because Albertans love to talk conservatism, but want all the same govt services as the most rabid socialist. They just don't want to pay taxes for them, let current income pay for it. Then if oil goes bust, so does Alberta.

Didn't know Alberta was running a deficit. No excuse in a province what that much money coming in.

He's unaware of any pro-oilsands movies paid for by the government??

Oil sands get $3B in subsidies: Report
Quote:
The researchers found 63 separate subsidy programs across Canada, mostly meant to increase exploration and development through a mix of tax breaks and royalty reductions.

That would be a hell of a movie for 3 billion dollars..

Technically, there is no deficit because the government is spending our 'rainy day' (Sustainability Fund) to cover extra spending. But most people would argue it is an actual deficit.

Actually you're wrong about gov't services - an awful lot of Albertans want privatized health care, less spending and even lower taxes - that's where the Wild Rose Alliance is getting their support from.
