I just finished adding 2 new options to the users profile. For those users with slower internet connections loading all the avatars and signature pics in the forum threads can take awile, so i have added the option to disable viewing of them.

You can disable display of avatars
disable display of images in signatures
or disable signatures all together.

To change any of these options view your profile settings page.
by default avatars and full sigs are displayed.

Even though I am on dial-up, I find that the forums load fairly quickly. Like an entire page in <15 seconds or so. Maybe someone on dial up woth a bit slower computer though might make a difference?

also some people might not want to see signatures, just want a plainer forum.

Also you might have noticed if you are not logged in the avatars and signatures do not load. This has been like this for several weeks.

I get logged on automatically so I haven't noticed. And the school computers block this webpage...

Ya from school when you try to log on it says something like:

This site has been automatically blocked
www.canadaka.net
Due to
Nudity

It probably sees the word ass and assumes nudity. I should try the new domain you registered, the one canadianforums or whatever it was. They are really strict though on the school computers. If you are caught on MSN you are banned form the comps for 3 school days now. They disable your log-in. Apparently they had problems ealier this year with kids downloading viruses onto the comps.
